Delighted to attend the Digital Media Business Cluster event at the Mailbox. The organisation formed out of the ruins of the old regional development agency cluster group has some grand ambitions for the ‘region’. The ‘Peaky Blinders’ has been a TV series based on the cloth cap gangs of Birmingham from earlier last century generally post World War 1. The ‘blinders’ were so called because they would stitch a razor blade in their caps and head butt or swipe the cap across an opponents face causing serious injury.
